The Khan family is known for their grand and deeply devoted Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations every year. While the festivities are always a star-studded affair, it is the candid family moments that truly steal the show. During the recent Ganpati Visarjan at Sohail Khan’s residence, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan shared a hilarious and heartwarming moment with his younger sister, Arpita Khan, that is currently breaking the internet.
A video from the celebration has gone viral, capturing Salman Khan performing an ‘ulti’ (reverse/incorrect) aarti, only to be instantly corrected by a watchful Arpita! Here is a complete breakdown of the adorable sibling moment, the family’s grand visarjan, and the internet’s sweet reaction.
The ‘Ulti Aarti’ Moment: Arpita Steps In!
The Khan family gathered at Sohail Khan’s building to bid farewell to Lord Ganesha. In a video that is widely circulating across social media platforms, Salman Khan can be seen performing the Ganpati aarti. Dressed casually in printed jeans, a matching jacket, a black T-shirt, and his signature black beanie, the superstar was deeply immersed in his prayers.
However, in his devotion, Salman mistakenly started moving the aarti thali in the wrong direction (counter-clockwise). Standing right beside him, his sister Arpita Khan quickly noticed the error. Without missing a beat, she gently touched his hand and corrected his motion. Smiling at his mistake, Salman seamlessly adjusted and continued the aarti correctly.
In a classic elder brother move, right after being corrected himself, Salman was then seen instructing his young niece on the correct way to perform the aarti!
“This Is What Sisters Are For”: Fans React
The candid, unfiltered interaction between the siblings instantly went viral, leaving fans gushing over their pure bond. Netizens flooded the comment sections with wholesome reactions.
One fan affectionately wrote, “Only Arpita can correct him,” while another commented, “This is what sisters are for, to teach their brothers.” Many users found the exchange highly relatable, with one stating, “Brothers only listen to their sisters,” and others simply calling the moment “too cute” to handle.
A Star-Studded Visarjan Hosted By Sohail Khan
This year, the Ganpati festivities were hosted by actor-producer Sohail Khan. The visarjan was an eco-friendly and intimate affair, taking place within the premises of Sohail’s building where a large water tank was specially arranged for the immersion.
The celebration saw the entire Khan clan in attendance, including parents Salim and Salma Khan, Helen, Alvira Agnihotri, and Arbaaz Khan’s son, Arhaan Khan, who was actively seen helping with the idol immersion.
Adding to the star power of the evening, Salman’s close friend and rumored girlfriend Iulia Vantur also joined the family. Looking stunning in a bright yellow anarkali suit, Iulia was seen offering her prayers and performing the aarti right after Salman. The guest list also included close industry friends like Varun Sharma, Kushal Tandon, and Sargun.
