The high-voltage drama in Star Plus’s blockbuster daily soap Anupama has reached an explosive turning point. For weeks, the enigmatic investor RV had smoothly integrated himself into Anupama’s business and the family’s good graces. However, the mask has finally slipped.
In the highly anticipated episode airing on October 8, 2026, the devastating truth behind RV’s arrival is finally exposed. Filled with revenge, corporate threats, and a life-altering tragedy, today’s episode sets the stage for a massive war within the family.
Here is a complete, detailed written update and spoiler breakdown of everything that transpired in the dramatic October 8 episode of the show, from RV’s threatening vows to Banku’s shocking accident!
The Shocking Truth: RV is Digvijay’s Son!
The tension in the episode peaks when Anupama finally uncovers the dark secret RV has been hiding. After connecting the dots involving Saavi’s diary and old photographs, she is left completely stunned by a massive revelation: RV is actually Ranvijay, the estranged son of Digvijay and Saavi.
When confronted, RV drops his polite, charming facade. He reveals that his entire presence in their lives—and his financial investments—was a meticulously calculated plot. Fueled by years of unresolved grief and deep-seated hatred, RV firmly believes that Digvijay is solely responsible for Saavi’s suffering and tragic past. He declares that he hasn’t come to help them, but to completely destroy Digvijay and everything he holds dear.
RV Threatens To Take Over Saavi’s Cafe
The confrontation takes a sinister turn when RV shifts his focus to her business. Knowing that the ‘Love You Zindagi Cafe’ (now heavily associated with Saavi’s memories) means everything to her and Digvijay, RV plays his masterstroke.
He aggressively threatens Anupama, vowing to legally and financially take over the cafe. Using the clauses from the investment documents that she had blindly trusted him with, RV promises to snatch the business away, aiming to permanently crush Anupama’s dreams of independence while inflicting maximum psychological pain on his father, Digvijay.
Meanwhile, he also begins to manipulate a vulnerable Maahi, revealing half-truths to her to ensure the family remains divided and turns against her.
Tragedy Strikes: Banku Meets With An Accident
While Anupama is reeling from RV’s betrayal and corporate threats, a far more devastating tragedy strikes the family.
Banku, who had been growing increasingly suspicious of RV’s intentions and his hidden connection with Digvijay, finally gathers enough evidence to expose RV’s malicious plans. However, before he can safely reach Anupama to warn her of the impending danger, Banku meets with a horrific accident.
The sudden and tragic accident leaves the entire family in a state of shock and panic. As Banku fights for his life, Anupama is left devastated, wondering if RV had a hand in orchestrating the crash to silence Banku before the truth could be fully exposed to the rest of the family.
What Happens Next?
With Banku in critical condition and RV openly threatening to usurp her business, Anupama finds herself backed into a corner. How will Digvijay react when he comes face-to-face with the wrath of his own son? Will Anupama be able to save her cafe from RV’s hostile takeover?
