He later confessed these issues stemmed from an alcohol addiction that led to tantrums and straining relationships with co-workers. Shubhangi confirmed such instances caused on-set hold-ups, including mornings where she waited for him to arrive before filming could begin.
Time Heals: From Friction to Friendship
Despite the rocky start, they found common ground. Shubhangi credited Karan’s talent, stating he was “a fabulous actor” whose professionalism evolved over time. She even jokingly told him, “Next time we work together, I will make you wait,” indicating their rapport had shifted from tense to playful.
Today, the pair share mutual respect and friendship. Shubhangi congratulated Karan on becoming a father, affirming no hard feelings and expressing the possibility of future collaborations.
