The power dynamics inside the Rise and Fall 2 Tower have been completely upended! After a week filled with physical altercations, massive financial losses, and explosive verbal showdowns, the highly anticipated race for the Week 2 ‘Ultimate Ruler’ has finally concluded.
Hosted by Virender Sehwag and streaming on Amazon Prime Video and MX Player, the reality show delivered a major twist as political analyst Shehzad Poonawalla managed to outsmart his competitors and secure the highest seat of power.
Here is a complete, detailed written update of the Week 2 Ultimate Ruler race, the massive backlash against Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, and the fun-filled Bollywood theme party that took over the house!
Shehzad Poonawalla Becomes The New Ultimate Ruler
Following a grueling series of eliminations in the contendership task, the race for the Ultimate Ruler title boiled down to two massive personalities: Gautam Gulati and Shehzad Poonawalla. The two remaining Rulers in the Penthouse went head-to-head in a tense showdown to claim the supreme leadership of the Tower.
Defying expectations and silencing his critics, Shehzad Poonawalla successfully beat Gautam Gulati to emerge as the new Ultimate Ruler for Week 2. This victory gives Shehzad absolute authority over the house, rendering him safe from the weekly ‘Fall’ and granting him the power to dictate the lives and duties of the Workers toiling in the Basement.
Priyanka Chahar Choudhary Faces Backlash
While Shehzad enjoys his newly acquired supreme power, things are going downhill for Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. After voluntarily pressing the button in the Fortune Pyramid task to save the prize pot—resulting in a loss of ₹32 lakh and her demotion to a Worker—Priyanka is now facing intense backlash from both the audience and her fellow contestants.
Her recent aggressive gameplay, combined with her explosive verbal spat with Shehzad (which included the controversial “gold digger” remark), has isolated her in the game. Currently living in the Basement as a Worker, Priyanka is finding it difficult to navigate the shifting alliances as the Rulers continue to target her.
A Night of Relief: The Bollywood Theme Party
To ease the boiling tensions in the house, the makers introduced a fun, light-hearted Bollywood-themed activity. The contestants were asked to dress up and enact iconic cinematic characters, leading to some incredibly viral moments.
The highlight of the evening was politician Tej Pratap Yadav, who channeled Sanjay Dutt’s character from the classic film Vaastav. He perfectly delivered the iconic “50 Tola” dialogue, leaving the housemates in splits. Meanwhile, the newly crowned Ultimate Ruler, Shehzad Poonawalla, entertained everyone by playing Sanjay Dutt’s beloved Munnabhai character.
The fun didn’t stop there. Tej Pratap was later seen dancing with Irina Rudakova, prompting a hilarious reaction from Swara Bhasker. Watching the unusual pairing, Swara jokingly yelled, “Lalu ji sab dekh rahe hain” (Lalu ji is watching everything), instantly making it one of the funniest moments of the season.
What Happens Next?
With Shehzad Poonawalla now calling the shots as the Ultimate Ruler, life for the Workers in the Basement is about to get much harder. Will Shehzad use his power to target his rivals like Priyanka and Siwet, or will he play a fair game?
Stay tuned for more updates as the drama unfolds in the Rise and Fall 2 Tower!
