The ultimate battle between the Penthouse and the Basement just delivered its most explosive twist yet! Amazon MX Player and SET India’s high-stakes reality show, Rise and Fall India Season 2, has been keeping audiences on the edge of their seats with intense power struggles. However, the October 9 episode completely rewrote the rules of the game.
Hosted by Virender Sehwag, the show had been building up to a massive rebellion, and the highly anticipated Takhta Palat (coup) finally happened. With alliances shattering and massive betrayals coming to light, the game has quite literally been turned upside down overnight.
Here is a complete, detailed written update and spoiler breakdown of everything that transpired in the shocking October 9 episode of Rise and Fall 2, from the intense Oil Challenge to Raj Grover’s ultimate betrayal!
The Epic ‘Takhta Palat’: Workers Grab The Throne
For weeks, the Workers in the grim Basement have been plotting to overthrow the luxurious Rulers in the Penthouse. Their golden opportunity finally arrived with the physically grueling and highly strategic “Oil Challenge.”
Displaying incredible teamwork and desperation to escape the basement conditions, the Workers absolutely aced the task. Their decisive victory triggered the ultimate Takhta Palat. In a massive overnight switch that sent shockwaves through the house, the Workers were officially crowned the new Rulers and moved into the luxurious Penthouse, while the former Rulers were stripped of their privileges and banished to the Basement.
However, the game threw in a massive curveball: Manisha, who recently entered the show as a wildcard contestant, retained her Ruler status despite the swap, creating an entirely new dynamic in the Rise And Fall Penthouse.
Heartbreaks and Massive Betrayals
The power shift did not come without its casualties. The biggest heartbreak of the episode belonged to Aarush. After fighting tooth and nail to secure a spot in the Penthouse, his victory was incredibly short-lived. Aarush got to enjoy the luxurious life of a Ruler for just one day before the Takhta Palat dragged him right back down to the grueling life of a Worker.
Meanwhile, the mastermind behind the Rulers’ downfall was none other than Raj Grover. In a shocking act of betrayal, Raj backstabbed the Penthouse to aid the Workers’ rebellion. However, with the swap now complete, his former allies are furious. Social media and viewers are already predicting that Raj is “cooked,” as he must now survive in the Basement alongside the very Rulers he betrayed.
Clashing Loyalties: Niharika vs. Irina
The kalesh (drama) didn’t stop with the task. The changing dynamics have brought deep-rooted insecurities to the forefront. Niharika, who found herself torn between the two factions, began displaying noticeable sympathy for her former fellow Workers.
This emotional dilemma did not sit well with Irina. Niharika’s wavering loyalties put her directly at odds with Irina, leading to a fiery clash between the two strong personalities. As the new Rulers settle into the Penthouse, the question remains: will the new power dynamics unite them, or will the newfound authority tear their alliances apart?
Stay tuned to Amazon MX Player, Prime, or SET India to witness how the demoted Rulers plan their revenge from the Rise And Fall Basement!
